When did you begin working at CALM?

I started working for CALM in October 2016.

What is your role at CALM?

My role at CALM is as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I provide parent-child therapy for children aged 0-8, child abuse treatment for children and teens up to age 18, and group therapy for children who have been exposed to domestic violence.

Please share one of your best CALM experiences (a time you felt like you really made a difference).

The common theme that permeates throughout my best CALM experiences is witnessing clients express that they have gotten their power back. I am in constant awe of the strength and resiliency of clients and their caregivers. My heart grows three times bigger when clients express feeling safe and free.

Finish the sentence, “If I could do one thing to make kids’ lives better, I would….”

If I could do one thing to make kids’ lives better I would ensure that every child feels safe and nurtured enough to explore their creativity and internalize self-love.

What is one thing you wish people knew about CALM?

I want people to know that CALM is comprised of professionals that are passionate about helping empower children and their families by highlighting each client’s innate and unique resiliency.
