Child and Family Therapist

CALM has an immediate full-time opening in the Lompoc and Solvang area. The primary population to be served will be young children (aged 0-5) and their families, as well as children and families at Family Resource Centers in the area. This position involves regular off-site work. CALM is seeking an out-going, positive, and flexible candidate.

Job Requirements:

  • Licensed MFT/LCSW or Intern
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Strong organizational and clinical documentation skills
  • Knowledge and experience working with children and families
  • Able to provide individual and family therapy
  • Knowledge of DSM and experience in diagnosing ideal
  • Experience in domestic violence counseling and child abuse prevention
  • Ability to document client activities for purposes of medical billing
  • Some evening work required
  • Requires use of personal vehicle (mileage is reimbursed)
  • Must pass Live Scan background check and have CA driver’s license with clean driving record.
