2009 CALM Design Showcase presented by 805 Living Magazine
Since 1983, CALM has produced over ten Design Showcase Homes, making this our signature fundraising event. The concept of the project is to identify an interesting and historic, but unimproved, home and turn it into a “Design Showcase.” The home and gardens are open to the community for one month for an admission charge which benefits the agency’s vital services. We celebrated a successful event in September of 2009 at the beautiful knoll top Hacienda, designed by famed architect Chester Carjola. The event brought thousands of visitors and raised over $100,000 to support CALM’s important work.

Showcase Program Book Advertising
This year CALM partnered with 805 Living Magazine. Advertising in the CALM Design Showcase Program is an excellent way to reach an upscale clientele. Each year our program book advertisers gain exposure to more than 5,000 Showcase visitors, including sponsors, corporate party guests, media representatives, participating designers and the general public, while simultaneously supporting CALM’s vital programs. The published program book is full-color, perfect bound, with a laminated four-color cover and serves as a Showcase guide as well as a permanent reference for suppliers.
